Senior day was an emotional one for the women’s basketball team, but it could not have ended better. While the pre-game ceremonies highlighted the two seniors who will graduate in June, major losses for next year’s team, Kate Thompson ’15 and Meghan Erdman ’15, the game itself and the end result proved just how much potential the team still has.
While Thompson’s guidance was seen and felt on the court all afternoon, it was Jenni Barra ’18 who led the team in points, scoring 16 in total. Erdman’s strength was also palable in Vinair, and Cailin Schmeer ’16 proved that she has what it takes to lead the Dutchwomen next season.
