Lacrosse opener moved to Frank Bailey Field

After welcoming 17 new additions to the team, the Union Men’s Lacrosse roster is looking as strong as ever as they head into their season opener against SUNY Cortland on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. With recent news of the game being moved from Long Island to the Dutchmen’s own Frank Bailey Field, the entire campus is buzzing with excitement. Union is ranked ninth and Cortland is ranked fifth in the most recent USILA poll, so the match-up is sure to be as heated as usual.

Union has yet to best the Red Dragons, and if you ask any member of the 2015 Dutchmen, they are sure that this will be the year they make it happen.

This Saturday will set the tone for the rest of the season for the Dutchmen, who have a strong group seniors ready to make an impact. With a captain at every position and a bond no loss or goal against can seem to shake, it promises to be a very exciting weekend for Dutchmen diehards.
