Based on the logos and how over the years we’ve seen fewer words in our advertising, do you think we are entering a post-literate society?
Yeah, actually a lot of corporations, if they are well known like Starbucks or Pepsi… their logos don’t even say Starbucks or Pepsi anymore. We just have to assume. And I think it’s because of how media centric we’ve become as a culture.
