Chiddy Bang is a pop-rap duo consisting of Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege and Noah “Xaphoon” Beresin. The pair formed the group during their time together at Drexel University of Philadelphia in 2009. Best known for songs such as Opposite of Adults (featuring MGMT) and Mind Your Manners (featuring Icona Pop), Chiddy also currently holds the official Guinness Book World Record for both Longest Freestyle Rap and Longest Marathon Rapping Record after freestyling for nine hours, 18 minutes and 22 seconds. Their latest album, Breakfast, was released in February 2012, and now, in just two days, they will be coming to Union.
American Authors is an indie-rock band formed in 2006 at Berklee College of Music. They may not be chart toppers, but American Authors is a young, talented band whose single “Best Day of My Life” was featured in a Lowe’s TV ad.
The Dirty Heads are a California based reggae and hip-hop group influenced by groups like Beastie Boys and Sublime and have toured with acts such as O.A.R., Matisyahu and 311. On tour this summer in support of their album and single “Cabin by The Sea.” Catch them on campus for an exclusive performance for our students!
