In loving memory of Sean Murphy ’13, rest in peace

On March 13, Sean Murphy ‘13 died in a tragic car accident in East Greenbush, N.Y. Murphy, 22, was a senior psychology major at Union.

At the time of the accident, Murphy was a passenger in a car driven by Rensselaer police officer Mark Fucso. Fusco is the son of Rensselaer police chief Rick Fusco. According to the Times Union, Fusco has been charged with driving while intoxicated and is currently hospitalized.

In an e-mail to the college, President Ainlay noted that, “Friends remember Sean for his care, non-judgmental nature and loyalty.”

A memorial service for Sean will be held tomorrow in Memorial Chapel at 5 p.m.
