Everyone reacts differently to Valentine’s Day.
Those who are madly in love find it exciting, adorable and something to look forward to. Those who are single may find it depressing and unnecessary. There are also many who aren’t affected at all, regarding it as simply another day.
Whether you are a fan of the holiday or not, love is undeniably something that makes the world go ‘round.
Love is something that some people may have experienced in the past, could be experiencing in the present, or, perhaps, not yet at all.
Eventually, everyone will find someone that drives them wild—whether forever or just for a short time. Either way, at some point, we will all be able to relate to those couples that we watch fall for one another in TV shows and movies and read about in books.
There are many romantic comedies that make our hearts flutter and force us to ask, “Why can’t that happen to me?”
Movies like this not only tell a beautiful story, but they make you laugh and provide insight into what relationships can be like. They also usually leave you with happy endings for a hopeful future.
If you are in love this Valentine’s Day, savor that person who makes you feel special. If you’re not in love this Valentine’s Day, don’t worry about it.
Surround yourself with friends and family this Feb. 14 and know that you have something great to look forward to in the future—a beautiful thing called love.
