What I learned in London

This overall experience was eye opening for me. In one month, I was introduced to – and fell in love with – theatre.  I am able to appreciate it for everything it is worth – the acting, the scenery, the directing, and the writing.

I have seen a show that is being turned into film (War Horse) and a show that will be on Broadway in the spring (One Man, Two Guv’nors). I have been behind the scenes at the National Theatre in London and watched the labor that goes into constructing a set (The Comedy of Errors).

I was amazed at how involved with the productions I became.  As I began to get into the productions and critique them more, I realized that I could do this.  This is exactly what theatre does for me. It creates emotion.  I will forever continue to see shows and may have even discovered a new passion in my life.
