Delta Delta Delta suspended

By News Staff

Delta Delta Delta is currently suspended in response to events that occurred on Oct. 7. The Concordiensis could not confirm at press time exactly what those events were.

All of the sorority’s membership activities, including pledging events, are currently prohibited.

In an email obtained by the Concordiensis, Director of Greek Affairs Timothy Dunn asked other Greek organizations “to cease and desist all activities associated with Delta Delta Delta. This includes, but is not limited to, new member/pledge activities, meetings, social events, philanthropy events, and educational programming.”

A representative of Panhellenic Council said that “[the council] as a whole is asking everyone to respect others’ privacy.” Delta Delta Delta President Emily Bluth ‘12 declined to comment.

UPDATE (10/13/11, 7:46 p.m.): The aforementioned email from Director of Greek Affairs Timothy Dunn to Greek leaders can be found here.
