Sex trafficking awareness

On Monday May 2, the Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship co-sponsored an event called “Love 146: Hear Her Story” with a number of other organizations on campus.

Love 146 is an anti-child sex trafficking organization whose name was created by founder Rob Morris.

During his first brothel raid in India, he rescued a girl who had the number “146” engraved across her chest. Morris wanted to send the message that individual lives matter, so he named his organization after this young girl.

The group has raised $800 so far, and are looking to raise $1000 before the term ends.
