Things were different in the second game, with Oswego holding the lead most of the game and pulling out a 25-17 win over the Dutchwomen. However, the third game was all Union as they took the game 25-17. The Dutchwomen continued their stellar play in the fourth game as they took a 15-10 lead, followed by a 10-1 run to close out the game and the match.
Union looked for the weekend sweep against SUNY Cortland, but they were no match for the Red Dragons who took the match 3-0.
Cortland took the first game with an easy 25-10 victory, but the Dutchwomen played better in the second game taking an early 4-2 lead. The game stayed close for a while, but the Red Dragons pulled away for a 25-15 win. In the third and final game, the Dutchwomen trailed 10-9 at one point, but were unable to tie the game, allowing the opposition to pull away with a 25-15 victory.
The team will head to New Jersey this weekend for matches with Arcadia and Farleigh Dickinson.
