Major: Bioengineering
Sport: Dance
Q: When did you start dancing and what got you interested in it?
A: I have been dancing since I was three years old. My mom is a dance teacher so I just followed in her footsteps.

Q: What are your favorite and least favorite styles of dance?
A: My favorite style is contemporary because I love the freedom it gives you to express yourself. I love to watch all types of dance. I don’t really have a least favorite.

Q : What kinds of thoughts run through your mind while you are performing?
A : For the most part I don’t think about much, I just listen to the music and do the choreography.

Q: What’s one thing people may be surprised to know about dancers at Union?
A:  I think people are really surprised by how much time and commitment it takes both in and outside the studio to put on a performance.

Q: How do you think dancing has prepared you for your future endeavors?
A:  It has helped me become a more confident and open person. It has also introduced me to a lot of different people I wouldn’t have met otherwise.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Union?
A: Being at Union allows me to pursue all my interests both academically and artistically. Also, I can take classes like Dance Experience that integrates dance into my academics.

Q: What’s your go-to food of choice in Reamer?
A:  My go-to is an O3 sandwich with extra cranberry-mayo.

Q: What’s your favorite restaurant in Schenectady?
A: My favorite restaurant is Bier Abbey because I love their cheese fries.
