Q: What are you involved in around campus?

A: Sigma Delta Tau and the pre-health club.

H: Garnet Society and the pre-health club.

Q: How do you balance playing a sport while excelling academically?

A: Playing a sport forces you to manage your time. I find that I often do better in-season because I don’t have any time to procrastinate.

H: I think time management is also huge. I agree with Angelina, playing a sport teaches you how to manage your time and balance academics with social life.

A: It teaches you to get your stuff done in the middle of the day, which becomes a habit even out of season.

Q: Do you think Union creates a good environment for student-athletes to thrive in?

H: I would say so; professors are always very accommodating if you have to miss class for whatever reason.

Q: What’s your favorite part about playing for the field hockey team?

H: I like the bonding experiences we share as a team. We’ve had a lot of captain’s practices throughout the winter that have really brought the team together; tough lifts too.

A: It’s been a fun offseason.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Union?

A: I think again the people. Everyone is motivated to do well while still having fun.

H: I agree 100 percent. There is a really good balance between academics and athletics as well as social life.

A: It’s a very well balanced school.

Q: Lastly, what is your food of choice on campus?

A: Quesadillas…mozzarella sticks after midnight.

H: Burritos.
