Q: When did you start playing lacrosse and what got you interested in it?
A: I started playing when I was in first grade because a newsletter about it went home in my Friday folder.
Q: What is your favorite team to play against?
A: My favorite teams to play against are RPI and Skidmore. Whenever we play them, the games are always close; they’re our biggest rivals and the most fun games of the year.
Q: What’s one rule in the game of women’s lacrosse that you’d like to change?
A: There’s actually a rule they just changed this year which lets us self-start after penalties. So I would’ve wanted to change that rule but they already did.
Q: What are the best aspects of Union’s women’s lacrosse team?
A: Off the field, we are very close. That’s something that really attracted me to the team. I think it’s part of why we are so successful. We are always playing for each other.
Q: How do you balance athletics, academics and social commitments?
A: I think playing a sport really helps me to manage my time better. During the season, my schedule is more structured but when I’m not in season, I don’t have as many set things to do. So being in season just makes everything a lot more structured.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about Union?
A: I really like the community. I went to a really small high school so my favorite thing is that Union is so small and close-knit.
Q: What’s your go-to food of choice in Reamer?
A: My favorite thing in Reamer is any of the soups.
Q: What’s your favorite restaurant in Schenectady?
A: My favorite restaurant is Johnny’s.
