Q: When did you start running, and what got you interested in it?

A: I actually just started running last year. My older brother has always been a runner and last year, at the University of Rochester, I had the chance to run with him for a year, and I got into it. I transferred to Union from the University of Rochester this year.

Q: What runs through your mind during a tough race?

A: Nothing at all runs through my mind while I’m running; it’s completely empty. After, people will tell me how they were screaming for me, and I’ll tell them I didn’t hear a word. It’s impossible to think.

Q: What’s been your biggest athletic accomplishment so far?

A: My biggest athletic accomplishment was probably my freshman year of high school when my club soccer team qualified for nationals and went to play in Boise, Idaho.

Q: What are the best aspects of Union’s cross country and track teams?

A: My favorite thing is definitely the people. I’ve known them for only a few months, but they’re already my best friends. We’re like a family.

Q: Where are your favorite and least favorite places to compete?

A: My least favorite place is St. Lawrence and my favorite place is MIT.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Union?

A: The best thing is the people. Since it’s such a small school, it’s easy to get to know people, and you are able to become close to a lot of people.

Q: What’s your go-to food of choice in Reamer?

A: A grilled chicken quesadilla.

Q: What’s your favorite restaurant in Schenectady?

A: My favorite restaurant is Blaze.
