Q: When did you start playing soccer and what got you interested in playing?

A: I’ve been playing since I was three. Soccer is such an easy sport to start playing, although it’s not so easy to keep with it.

Q: In your opinion, what are the team’s main strengths and weaknesses this year?

A: Our main strength is that we play well together and our bench is really deep. We can put in subs without dropping the level of play. Also, our defense is really organized. Our main weakness is that our offense needs to score more.

Q: What is your favorite team to play against?

A: My favorite team to play against is Skidmore. Whenever we play them, it’s an exciting game and it’s always the last game of our regular season.

Q: What are your personal goals and your team’s goals for the postseason?

A: I’m hoping we make it to the playoffs and then see what happens from there.

Q: What has been your favorite memory with Union Soccer?

A: My favorite moment would have to be when we beat St. Lawrence at home my freshman year. The game got us into the playoffs.

Q: What’s the best thing about Union?

A: I really like the balance between social life and rigorous academics. People are able to work hard and also have fun. It’s just a really good environment.

Q: What’s your favorite place on campus?

A: My favorite place is probably the Nott. I get most of my work done there.

Q: What’s your favorite restaurant in Schenectady?

A: My favorite restaurants are probably Clinton’s Ditch or Van Dyck’s. I just always seem to end up going to them.
