Q: What got you started with lacrosse?

A: I started playing in eighth grade. My neighbor and I played on a travel team and I would always play with him in his backyard.

Q: What is your best lacrosse memory?

A: Beating SUNY Cortland this year.

Q: What is your pre-game ritual?

A: The night before a game I go to Marotta’s and have some pasta. The next morning I drink tons of water and I eat breakfast but after that, I don’t eat or drink anything.

Q: Do you have any superstitions?

A: I don’t believe in superstitions.

Q: What is your favorite dodge?

A: I’m an off-ball player so I don’t really do dodges.

Q: Who do you think is the best team to play against?

A: The team ahead of us.

Q: What are the this year’s team’s strengths and weaknesses?

A: I don’t think we really have any strengths or weaknesses. We are solid from top to bottom. There are great players at every position. We are a family.

Q: What are your goals for this season?

A: We’re hoping to win the national championship. There’s a process to that, though. We’re going to take it one day at a time. We want to win the league and then get a bid for the national championship. We just want to win each game we play.

Q: What is the best thing about going to Union?

A: The close-knit community. It gives you a chance to meet and get to know people you wouldn’t have met at a larger school.

Q: What are your plans for after graduation?

A: I don’t have a job yet. I’m looking to work in renewable energy.
