On May 18-21, 2017, Union College alumni returned to campus for ReUnion Weekend.
This four-day annual event allowed alumni to relive their experience at Union by participating in events with current faculty, staff and students.
The event went from two p.m. on Thursday afternoon to three p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Activities throughout the weekend included Class picnics, Class luncheons, the Science and Engineering Building Groundbreaking Ceremony, Adirondack Fair, Union historic tours, Minerva Fellow’s Craft Fair, Greek award ceremony, student research presentations, student performances, Alumni BBQ, Class photos and an  Alumni Lobsterfest, among others.
Alumni Classes competed to be the most involved with Union and the Class of 1967 won the Anable Cup for the greatest participation in ReUnion.
Fireworks were displayed on Saturday at 9 p.m. by the Young Explosives at the Library Plaza to signal the near end of the ReUnion Weekend.
The following morning on Sunday, May 21, at ten a.m., Minerva’s Footrace gave alumni of all Classes the opportunity to race against each other. This race marked as one of the last events of the weekend.
Marna Redding, Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement at Union described the weekend as “a great success!”
