Retraction: The headline of the January 24 news article that concerned the Union-Schenectady Alliance was not intended to make a characterizing statement regarding the opinions of the City of Schenectady held by anyone associated with Union College, its student body, its administration, the Union-Schenectady Alliance, any of the groups and organizations comprising and associated with the Union-Schenectady Alliance, or the Concordiensis. The headline was additionally not formulated by the article's author, Cara Gallivan, or the News Editor, Erika Schnitzer. The headline attempted to convey that a group of Union College students is working with Schenectady to improve the city.
