Recently relocated Dunkin Donuts franchise on Upper Union Street has dedicated an entire wall to Union in celebration of the intersection of business and academics between Dunkin Donuts and the Dutchmen.

“Dunkin is such a huge business, so I feel honored to be associated,” says Robert Harrington ’20.

The newly opened Dunkin Donuts franschise is spacious, with booths that provides an alternate for students to study, unwind and socialize off-campus.

The dedication highlights the college’s influence on the Capital Region.

According to the latest report by the Commision on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU), 322.5 million was contributed by Union to the Capital Region economy in 2015.

Union is also one of the largest employers in the area, generating an annual payroll of $55 million.

The continuing growth in popularity of the college has been proven to greatly influence the prowess of the local economy.

Next time you need a donut, take a look or take a selfie with the Union wall!
