Propagandistic art of China

Pictured below is a prime example of Chinese propaganda, depicting Mao in all his glory in the form of a beautiful mural painted on the side of a school. Such advertisments are common in China lining the subways, malls and random building walls. With deceased communist leader, Mao Ze Dong as the focal point for most of these illustrations, Union students witnessed, first-hand, some remnants of China’s rocky but rich political history through these beautiful illustrations depicting the history and glory of the People’s Republic of China.
