[/media-credit]A new counter has been placed in Upperclass Dining Hall in the Reamer Campus Center as well as a new to-go option for students, faculty and staff with meal plans. Other changes will be implemented throughout the year.
This renovation of the Social Sciences hub was made possible by a gift from the Lippman family in dedication of Robert George Lippman ‘50.
The total revitalization of the building, which was originally erected in 1967, enhanced one of the college’s most utilized academic buildings.
One perk of the building is that all faculty offices are almost equal in size and are illuminated by large windows.
“I can’t wait to start classes in the new building!” said Brendan Brooks ‘14, a political science and history major. “It looks great and I’m glad that I’ll be able to collaborate with the professors of my majors in one place.”
“My cultural anthropology classroom is well-lit and spacious, and definitely an improvement from the old building,” said Fiona Smith ‘14. “It’s a lot prettier and more accessible.”
