Seward Place: accident update

On Tuesday, March 13, a Union student hit a Schenectady pedestrian in a car collision. The latest police statement confirms that no charges have been filed and that the condition of the victim is unknown. The investigation remains ongoing. At the scene of the accident, Schenectady Police Lieutenant Mark McCracken explained that the victim sustained “serious injuries and head trauma.” The above picture displays the scene of the accident at the intersection of Seward Place and South Avenue. The victim’s clothing, which was removed for medical reasons, is pictured in the street.
