This frozen snickers pie is the perfect summer party pleaser after a long day in the sun, swimming, or playing games. Since Snickers has come out with a few new flavors of their traditional candy bar, you can customize the pie depending on your preferred kind: peanut, peanut butter, or almond. Ingredients 10 ounces chocolate wafers 7 tablespoons butter, melted 1 pint caramel ice cream, softened ½ cup dulce de leche caramel ½ cup salted peanuts ½ cup milk chocolate chips, melted 6 snickers bars, roughly chopped Caramel sauce, for drizzling Directions In a food processor or with a plastic bag and rolling pin crush the wafers into fine crumbs. Combine the crumbs with the melted butter in a bowl until evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch round cake pan. Place for crust in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile take out the caramel ice cream to soften. Once the crust is stiff spread the ice cream over the crust and put back in the freezer for 1 hour. Spread the dulce de leche caramel over the ice cream, then sprinkle peanuts and press down gently. Place back in the freezer for ten minutes. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler and roughly chop up the snickers bars. Pour the melted chocolate over the pie. Distribute the chopped snickers over the chocolate, followed by a drizzling of caramel sauce. Return to the freezer overnight. Let thaw slightly, cut into slices and enjoy!
